On 4/08/2009 Google has released a newer version of the popular Gmail application for the G1. The G1 application runs on the Android Platform and offers a more dynamic interface. It also downloads your emails and stores them on the phone so that emails can be accessed offline. This is a very convenient feature for phones that are not permanently in an area with a strong wifi or 3G phone signal. For more info check out:
